"Peanut" and "Popcorn"

This one is entirely my fault. Perhaps it was the feeling of spring in the air or maybe just the insatiable desire to have more livestock. In any case, I found myself getting all excited about the idea of getting a couple of bunnies for the kids to have as pets.

I visited the Humaine Society on my way home from work one evening. The lady behind the counter happily led me back into the building and introduced me to "Peanut" and "Popcorn". They are sisters and are clearly very happy together, so much so that the Humaine Society would not let me be separated. For that reason, they had been at the shelter for over six months waiting for someone to come through the door that was willing to take more than one rabbit.

They are sweet little ladies and very soft to the touch. They will calmly sit on your lap for hours but if you let them down onto the floor, they can be extremely difficult to catch! Freya has decided that she doesn't like their names and has dubbed them "Annabel" and "Elizabeth".
